Hey y'all!
I'll admit it, I'm a total numbers nerd, through and through.
I initially took the "traditional" route (or what some might call the "boring" route). I got my Bachelor’s in Analytical Finance and a Master’s in Accountancy from Wake Forest and became a CPA. I started my career at Ernst & Young, one of the Big 4 public accounting firms. More recently, I spent 10 years of my career in the Coca-Cola system, rising to a leadership role in Finance.
After a demanding Corporate career and two kids, I needed more balance. My heart had always felt a calling toward small business, which led me to starting Balance CFO LLC in 2018 with a vision to help women entrepreneurs reach for their dreams and achieve their financial goals!
My #1 mission is to see more women not just surviving but THRIVING both in their professional and personal lives. I am a financial literacy coach and speaker focused on helping entrepreneurs feel more confident about the numbers side of their businesses. The more we UNDERSTAND the financial side of our business, the more we can use it to transform not only our own pocketbook, but also the world around us.
I live in Franklin, TN and have a son and a daughter who are my world and keep me quite busy in my spare time!
What I’m known for:
Giving you the tools you need to understand and interpret your business financial statements
Educating others about numbers without confusing jargon (I'm not your dad's CPA!).
Speaking at events and on podcasts to empower women business owners
Setting you on a course for financial success through the implementation of new processes and a renewed excitement about your business!
